How billing works, in plain language

Three things to know: what you're charged on day 15, where to find your invoices, and how renewal pricing works. No fine print, no surprises.

Day 15: the first charge

Your trial runs for the first 14 days. On day 15, your card is charged once for the plan you picked:

  • Monthly plan: $12.00
  • Annual plan: $72.00

Sales tax or VAT is added on top where required by your billing country. The charge appears on your statement as CONTEXT SPANISH. You'll get an email receipt within a few minutes.

Where to find invoices

Every successful charge generates a downloadable PDF invoice. To find them:

  1. Sign in.
  2. Click your avatar → Account settings.
  3. Open the Billing tab.
  4. Download or email any invoice from the history list.

Receipts are also emailed to your account address automatically — keep an eye on your inbox if you need them for expenses.

How renewals are priced

Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel:

  • Monthly: renews each month on the same calendar day at $12.
  • Annual: renews each year on the anniversary of your first charge at $72.

The price you signed up at is locked in for as long as your subscription stays active. If we ever change pricing for new customers, we'll email you at least 30 days before any renewal at a different rate, and you can cancel before then with no charge.

When exactly is the first charge?

On the morning of day 15 (UTC), counted from when you started your trial. You'll see a reminder email 3 days before this happens.

What if my card fails on renewal?

We retry up to 3 times over the following week and email you each time. Your access stays active during retries. If all retries fail, the subscription pauses until you update your card in Billing.

Can I change plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Switch between monthly and annual any time from Billing. Annual upgrades are prorated against the time left on your current month.

Do you offer refunds?

Annual plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current period and aren't prorated.
