A2 Spanish reading practice
A2 is where reading starts to feel possible. Sentences are short, the present tense carries most of the work, and the vocabulary stays in everyday range — but the subject matter is still adult: real history, real culture, real arguments.
What you meet at A2: present tense, ser and estar, near future with ir a, common connectors (pero, porque, también), high-frequency nouns and adjectives.
Every piece below is written at A2 as well as the other two levels, so you can read the same subject again a step higher once it feels comfortable. English sits beside the Spanish on request, and the audio is recorded by native speakers.
