B2 Spanish reading practice
B2 reads close to the educated press. Arguments are hedged rather than stated, idiom appears without warning, and the subjunctive does real work. This is the level where you stop translating in your head.
What you meet at B2: present and imperfect subjunctive, conditional constructions, passive and impersonal se, rhetorical framing and idiomatic expressions.
Every piece below is written at B2 as well as the other two levels, so you can read the same subject again a step higher once it feels comfortable. English sits beside the Spanish on request, and the audio is recorded by native speakers.
